TheGahlik delivers news that "boldly goes where the truth has never gone before". We aim to make our audience laugh, chuckles, or otherwise enjoy reading our fake news articles. Our audience is anyone with an internet-capable device (desktop, laptop, tablet, cellphone, etc) who can read and has a sense of humor. Ideally, our stories should be like Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update", but in online-print form. Some may compare us to "The Onion", in the respect that we are both online published-word made-up content, but we have more of an edge to our stories. Our stories usually "poke the bear", and that means we take aim at a wacky public figure or idea and create a fake story that mocks it. What is "wacky" is totally at our discretion, but a good example is our first story that mocks Vladimir Putin's anti-LGBT stance by "exposing" a secret gay affair he had while in college and KGB school.
