ActiveBacker.com is a crowdfunding site for outdoor Projects. Unlike other crowdfunding sites, Backers fund a Project by shopping for gear. ~10-15% of the amount the Backer spends on gear, supports the Project, at no additional cost to the Backer (i.e. if you buy a $100 dollar pair of running shoes - the Project you backed will get $10-$15 dollars, paid for by the retailer (REI for example)).
